WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of these jobs, employees will frequently work in high precarious places, in outside weather conditions and frequently be exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. Employees will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environments is usually loud.

Commercial AVL Lead Installer
SUMMARY
Installs all audio, lighting, projection and related equipment serviced and maintained by Zeo Brothers, Inc. in an efficient and productive manner with no supervision or direction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:
- Follow all company and shop procedures including shipping, receiving, inventory, parts description, ordering, and distribution.
- Install and remove all types of audio, lighting, and projection equipment serviced by Zeo Brothers, Inc. with no supervision both in the shop and in the field.
- Troubleshoot installation related problems and repair the problem to the point of pulling the defective unit for bench repair.
- Understand and follow construction techniques and required hardware used in installations.
- Be completely proficient with all required hand tools and small power tools necessary to accomplish assigned duties.
*Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Indirectly supervises 1 to 10 employees in Installation Department.
TOOL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess the required common hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 6 months employment with Zeo Brothers, Inc.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, CAD documents, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to create CAD documents, write routine reports and correspondence.
Commercial AVL Installer
SUMMARY
Installs all audio, lighting, projection and related equipment serviced and maintained by Zeo Brothers, Inc. in an efficient and productive manner under minimum supervision or direction.
- Follow all company and shop procedures including shipping, receiving, inventory, parts description, ordering, and distribution.
- Install and remove all types of audio, lighting, and projection equipment serviced by Zeo Brothers, Inc. under minimal supervision both in the shop and in the field.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Indirectly supervises 1 to 2 employees in Installation Department.
- TOOL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the required common hand tools.

Commercial AVL Apprentice Installer
SUMMARY
Installs all audio, lighting, projection and related equipment serviced and maintained by Zeo Brothers, Inc. under direct supervision.
- Familiarize himself with and follow all company and shop procedures including shipping, receiving, inventory, parts description, ordering, and distribution.
- Develop the ability to install and remove all types of audio, lighting, and projection equipment serviced by Zeo Brothers, Inc. under minimal supervision both in the shop and in the field.
- Determine nature of installation related problems and convey the information to the proper installer or technician for corrective action.
- Become acquainted with and follow construction techniques and required hardware used in basic equipment installations.
- Develop proficiency with all required hand tools and small power tools necessary to accomplish assigned duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
TOOL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the required common hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

- Determine nature of installation related problems and repair the problem using basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Design and fabricate all special hardware required for custom installs.
- Participate in training programs for lower level installers and technicians.
- Contact customers and schedule installations with customers under minimum assistance and direction of the Installation Manager in accordance with shop and company policies.
- Assist management in developing, upgrading, and administrating an installation training and testing program.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and assist in the design and service of audio, lighting, and projection systems.
Proficient computer skills including advanced understanding of the internet. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possession of a valid driver’s license from any state and the ability to receive a Pennsylvania State Driver’s License.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A complete working knowledge of common hand tools and small power tools required to perform all required duties. A good working knowledge of installation test equipment such as a Fox & Hound and a DMM required to perform duties.
- Understand and follow construction techniques and required hardware used in basic equipment installations.
- Be partially proficient with all required hand tools and small power tools necessary to accomplish assigned duties.
- Assist in orientation and training of apprentice installers.
Basic computer skills including basic understanding of the internet. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
